Cabbage Tree Creek Bushcare Group
This group was formed to keep the bushland surrounding Cabbage Tree Creek in good shape.
They have over time cleared the weeds and cleaned the area between the bridge in Lemke Road, Taigum upstream to Fitzgibbon.
They were granted funds from the National Heritage Fund to repopulate the area with "food for wildlife".

When they meet: 3pm on the third Sunday of the month.
Where they meet: 50metres upstream of the Lemke Road bridge on the north side of Cabbage tree Creek behind the Warra Pound. Entry via Telegraph Road.
