Senior residents of Bracken Ridge Ward will be able to get a huge range of information when the Seniors Lifestyle Expo takes place on Saturday 8th of September.
The free Expo is held at the Baptist Church and includes the delightful music of the Attilla Sautov and Mueller Chamber Orchestra.
Councillor for Bracken Ridge Ward, Amanda Cooper, encourages all seniors, retirees and the young at heart to attend and take part in a day that promises to be an enjoyable experience.
“The Seniors Expo is a fantastic way for the senior residents of Bracken Ridge to take part in activities and information sessions made specifically for them.
“The residents can road test electric scooter, pick up on some information about enjoying in their golden years and catch a concert, for example.
“Others may want to learn about security, art or different clubs within their community.
“This event is a great opportunity for seniors to find comprehensive information to assist them in their day to day lives,” Cr Cooper said.
The Expo is a joint effort between the Baptist Church and community organisations and includes a wide variety of topics, including travel, money, food, gardening, security and many others.
The free Expo is at the Baptist Church on 47 Norris Rd and goes from 11am until 3pm, with a concert from 1pm until 2pm requiring a gold coin donation.
