The Queensland Ambulance Service is giving the opportunity for the community to be ready to save a life in a record-breaking event of CPR training.
Learn to save the life of a loved one on September 10 during Ambulance Week at Kedron’s Emergency Service Complex.
Councillor for Bracken Ridge Ward, Amanda Cooper, said the opportunity to learn CPR is too important for residents to pass up.
“I would like to see as many residents of our community as possible as prepared for a situation where a loved one may need CPR.
“Sometimes you don’t have time to wait for an ambulance,” Cr Cooper said.
The event aims to get community members to participate in learning the life-saving procedure while breaking a record of simultaneous CPR sessions.
Ambulance Week runs between the 10th and 16th of September and raises awareness of Queensland’s vital Emergency Services.
CPR sessions will be held at 2pm at the Emergency Services Complex at the corner of Park and Kedron Park Roads, Kedron.
